Bilingual Customer Service Representative
About the role
As our first dedicated customer service hire, you'll be the human face of Anywherecuts for thousands of barbers and clients. You'll handle support requests, help users get set up, and relay recurring pain points directly to our product team. Your feedback will shape the platform.
Spanish fluency is required — a significant portion of our barber community is Spanish-speaking, and we want to serve them in their first language.
What you'll do
- Respond to barber and client support requests via email (initially; may expand to chat)
- Help new barbers complete their profile setup and first booking
- Troubleshoot payment, scheduling, and account issues
- Write clear documentation and FAQ articles from recurring questions
- Flag product bugs and feature requests to the engineering team
- Represent Anywherecuts professionally in every interaction
What we're looking for
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Previous customer-facing experience (support, hospitality, retail, or similar)
- Clear, empathetic written communication — you de-escalate calmly
- Comfortable with technology; picks up new tools quickly
- Self-directed; can manage a queue without micromanagement
- Bonus: personal connection to the barbering community
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience, with opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the team expands. We'll discuss specifics in the first conversation.
